Dr. Berg was raised in Johnson City, TN where she attended University School and graduated with a small class of 48 seniors. She attended East Tennessee State University majoring in Sociology with a minor in Anthropology. She worked with the mentally disabled in home health care for over seven years while she put herself through college. Dr. Berg started experiencing lower back pain herself while she was in high school and discovered chiropractic care at Family Chiropractic Clinic with Dr. Reynolds. Dr. Berg soon noticed the difference in how her overall health felt with chiropractic care and became a wellness patient. Dr. Reynolds provided such excellent care for Dr. Berg that it inspired her to become a chiropractor herself, as she had always known that she wanted to help other people in making a positive impact on their lives. After Dr. Reynolds had given Dr. Berg a list of the top five chiropractic schools in the nation she began looking at her choices and upon visiting her first school she fell in love with the beautiful campus at Logan College of Chiropractic which reminded her of her hometown and the abundant nature that surrounded the area. Dr. Berg went on to obtain her doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in August of 2013 and while attending there also attained another Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences in August of 2011.
During her time at Logan College of Chiropractic Dr. Berg volunteered her time and services as a group leader at Southfield Health Center, an outpatient clinic. When Dr. Berg wasn’t treating her own patients or volunteering as a group leader she spent time volunteering at the school’s free Satellite Clinic, St. Patrick’s, which serves the underprivileged community. She worked as a student internist assistant at St. Patrick’s where she pulled patient files, completed billing and coding, and acted as a liaison between the student interns and the head clinician in patients daily care, examinations, and daily duties. Dr. Berg has had the privilege of working in the family practice as well as with service members, including some of South County’s finest police officers and military personnel. Dr. Berg utilizes a non-invasion soft tissue adjusting techniques myofascial release, kinesio taping, therapeutic modalities, correctional exercise therapy and nutritional education. When Dr. Berg is not in the office, she enjoys spending her time outside in the sunshine; hiking, functional training at the gym and traveling to see her family and friends. Dr. Berg is available for seminars and appointments.
